This meeting was an opportunity to hear four young people, two from Britain, one from Tanzania and one from Zambia, talk about their work in the fight against HIV/AIDS. The activists from Africa gave moving and personal accounts of what galvanised them to take action. The event was also useful to raise issues for inclusion in the AIDS strategy that was being developed by DFID at that time.
